Zhiyou Wen joined the Iowa State University Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition as an associate professor in August 2010. He is also an affiliate of the Center for Crops Utilization Research and the BioCentury Research Farm as well as professor-in-charge of the Fermentation Facility. Zhiyou came to the United States in 2002 for postdoctoral training at Washington State University, and then joined Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University as an assistant professor in 2005.
