The rotary drying system is capable of drying distillers dry grains with solubles with the same quality factors as achieved in an industrial dry-grind corn ethanol plant. The system can handle DDGS coming from the 500-liter and 1,000-liter fermenters or approximately 500 pounds of DDGS per day. The rotary drying system provides indirect heat transfer for enhanced control of the dehydration process. It can handle solids from cellulosic crops as well as corn grain as feedstock.
